Once the truck is packed up after installing the last window or door, the job doesn’t end there. A good manufacturer and installation company will stand behind their product as long as you own the home! What happens once the last item is installed? Are we done? Some companies have the ever popular tail light warranty method. Once the tail lights disappear on their vehicles, it seems like they do too! That is definitely not the case with us. Once the installers are finished a job, the paperwork and payment is handed into the office where it is processed. Any debris from the job site is taken to the transfer station and whatever can be recycled will be.

Our responsibilities after product installation Once installation of all products is complete and we have received payment all warranties are issued. We like to follow up with a customer within a few weeks of installation, just to touch base and make sure everything is OK. If there are any minor details noticed by a customer sometime after installation that have to be attended to, such as missing screw cap covers or missed caulking etc, then we will take care of these promptly. Not to scare anyone but occasionally there are small items that may arise, especially on large projects, whereby we may need to return to the job site. If this is the case then rest assured any and all service calls are dealt with promptly. Quite often the same day they are reported. Often people aren’t sure who to contact with any issues. The manufacturer? Superior Home Improvements? Our advice is to always call us and we will either take care of the problem or contact the appropriate people for you. Do not hesitate to call us with any questions regarding your new products.” How do they open for cleaning?”. We are only a phone call away and happy to help. All your windows and doors are done? Your responsibilities after product installation Make sure you have received all warranties and register them if required. They are mailed to you after the job is finished. Some product warranties are automatically recorded and those that aren’t can be done online. It’s very important to remember that your window warranty is fully transferrable. If and when you sell your home, the next owner must notify us or the manufacturer within 30 days of acquiring the home. This can be a powerful feature for potential future owners. It’s not unheard of to come across a minor item that may need our attention a few days after an installation. Don’t hesitate to contact us no matter how minor it seems, that way we can prevent a small detail from turning into a larger problem down the road. We are here to help.
