Multiple Knockouts

The homeowners at 40 Aino Beach Road, wanted to enjoy their water views along with better access to their deck and more natural light inside their home. Multiple knockouts were performed adding a window in the kitchen along with two 4-panel sliding patio doors. Knockouts involve removing a section of the existing wall to create a new larger opening.
The Knockout Process
Unlike standard door or window replacements, a knockout installation requires structural modifications to create a larger, more functional opening. Our process includes:
Structural Assessment – Ensuring that the new opening can be safely created without compromising the integrity of the home.
Wall Removal – Cutting through the existing wall to accommodate the new sliding door and window dimensions.
Frame Installation – Reinforcing the opening with wood/steel headers. Framing, along with new interior wood jambs and casings as required.
Seamless Integration – Installing a high-quality patio sliding door or window, that blends seamlessly with the home’s exterior and interior. On completion when done professionally, the home will look like it was built this way.
